Windows by Tall Pines

The team that protects your roof can seal up your windows

Tall Pines Roofing replaces windows across Greater Rochester with two product lines we trust: ProVia Endure, an ENERGY STAR-certified vinyl window for most homes, and the Vytex Potomac HP Series, a foam-filled, triple-pane-capable window for the coldest, windiest exposures.

Rochester winters find every gap. A window that leaks air or has lost its glass seal costs you comfort every day the furnace runs. We measure each opening, check the frames and sills, and install your new windows one at a time, sealed and insulated, so your home stays protected during the work.

Drafts you can feel

Cold air at the sash, a chill near the glass, curtains that move on a still day. Worn seals and single-pane glass leak heat all winter.

Fog between the panes

Moisture trapped inside an insulated unit means its seal has failed. The glass has lost most of its insulating value, and it won't clear up.

Ice and wet sills

Frost on the inside of the glass and water pooling on sills point to cold frames and air leaks. Left alone, that water rots sills and trim.

Sashes that fight you

Windows that stick, won't stay open or won't lock aren't just annoying. They're often warped, and they no longer seal when closed.

Two product lines

Good windows and great windows. No junk tier.

We carry two lines so you can match the window to the room, the exposure and how long you plan to stay. Both are made to the measurements of your openings and installed by Tall Pines.

Window questions

Replacement windows, answered

What is the difference between ProVia Endure and Vytex Potomac HP?

Endure is our value line: an ENERGY STAR-certified vinyl window with welded corners, thermal reinforcements and insulated glass, offered in nearly every style. Potomac HP is our premium line: foam-filled frames and sashes, triple-pane glass options and a U-factor as low as .20, built for the coldest, windiest exposures. We walk you through both at your free estimate and price each one so you can compare.

Can windows be replaced in the winter?

Yes. Replacement windows are installed one opening at a time, so each window is open to the weather for only a short stretch before the new unit is set, sealed and insulated. We protect your interior during the work and confirm the schedule in your written estimate.

How much do replacement windows cost in Rochester?

Most Greater Rochester homeowners pay roughly $450–$1,200 per window installed for energy-efficient vinyl, and a whole home commonly runs $6,000–$18,000+. These are representative ranges; your exact price depends on the product line, style, size and opening condition. See our window cost guide or book a free in-home measurement for a firm number.

Do you do insert or full-frame window replacement?

Both. An insert replacement fits a new window into your existing frame and is faster when the frame is sound. Full-frame replacement removes everything down to the rough opening and is the right call when sills or frames are rotted. We check every opening and tell you which one it needs.

Do you offer financing on windows?

Yes. You can spread the cost of new windows into monthly payments through our financing partners. Ask about it at your estimate or start on our financing page.

Which areas do you install windows in?

We install replacement windows across Greater Rochester and the surrounding counties, from Monroe and Wayne to Ontario, Livingston, Genesee, Orleans, Wyoming and Steuben. Find your town in the list on this page.
