Not as a separate government. Since the dissolution, the Town of Macedon's Building and Zoning office covers addresses in the former village as well as the rest of the town. That simplifies who you call.
The housing still varies a lot. Homes near the canal in the hamlet and in Wayneport are generally older, while subdivisions elsewhere in town are newer. We look at each house on its own terms: frame condition, opening size and which rooms run cold.
